What Happened To Everyone Who Became Robin?

3. Tim Drake

Jason Todd Robin Red Hood
DC Comics

Of all the people to have worn the iconic Robin outfit, Tim Drake is the character who has the most in common with Batman.

Amongst the many nicknames placed on Batman over the decades, one of the most notable is that of The World’s Greatest Detective. And it’s on the detective side of things that Tim is most like his mentor.

Methodical, intelligent, and always with a multitude of plans for any possible situation, Drake has so many traits similar to Bruce. Not to mention, so smart is Tim, he deciphered that Bruce Wayne and Batman were the same person before he’d even taken on the Robin mantle.

Notably, Tim was the first Robin to get his own comic book title as his popularity began to surge, and he was also the founder of the Young Justice group before later reforming the Teen Titans. Much like Dick and Jason eventually branched out on their own, so too did Tim Drake as he became known as Red Robin. In fact, DC’s New 52 relaunch changed history so that Tim had always been Red Robin - the logic here was that Drake decided against using the Robin name as a mark of respect to the deceased Jason.
