Film directors do not always have to lie to their actors in order to cut corners and capture a better take for their movie. Sometimes the actors have a unique, hidden talent that comes in handy on set.

Infamously, on the set of ‘It’, Bill Skarsgård would freak out his fellow cast members by making his eyes move in different directions, something which many viewers presumed was something done with special effects by the editing team, specifically for the character of Pennywise.

Morgan Freeman also saved the editing team some time on Se7en, where he played the role Detective Lieutenant William Somerset. During the scene where Somerset is throwing a knife at a dartboard in his apartment while thinking over the case, the crew on set were planning to film two separate shots of Freeman throwing the knife and then a shot of the knife hitting the board and cutting them together in post-production.

However, Freeman repeatedly threw the knife himself and stuck it perfectly in the dartboard multiple times in an absolutely boss move that makes him sound as silky, smooth as his iconic voice.
