Jim Carrey is often affiliated for his never-ending high energy and commitment to physicality in films such as The Grinch, Liar, Liar and A Series of Unfortunate Events.

The last credit mentioned is very relevant and could easily be the alternate title of Chris Smith's part behind-the-scenes documentary, Jim & Andy. During the production of Man on the Moon, the biopic of Andy Kaufman's life, Carrey remains in character as the "song and dance man", much to 'misfortune' of the 1999 films' director, Miloš Forman and the rest of the crew.

The documentary jumps back and forth through time from the late 90's to present day and consists of interviews with the likes of Carrey as well as Kaufman's family and colleagues, including professional wrestler, Jerry "The King" Lawler.

Jim goes above (and beyond) in his work embodying Andy and doubling as the latter's creation, Tony Clifton. An engrossing perspective into method acting.
