5. And More Importantly Why Is He Attacking Sue?
Perhaps that point about Doom being a master sorcerer as he is in the comics is nailed on: if he genuinely does affect the way Storm becomes The Human Torch rather than it being a molecular issue, then it would make sense that he could then control him in some way. Is that why he's seen briefly attacking his sister in the trailer? Is Johnny about to go rogue? Sorry, fans of the more supernatural elements of Ultimates, but it's probably far more likely that the two are either sparring in training after being given their new suits, or it's just sibling rivalry in super-powered form. After all, Sue doesn't exactly look very concerned. Josh Trank has pushed the idea of the superhero ensemble as primarily a family, rather than just a group brought together because of their powers, and it would make sense that familial frictions would rear up, especially knowing Johnny's tendency to be somewhat egotistical.
