10 Biggest Downgrades In MCU History

6. Gamora

Professor Hulk
Marvel Comics

When your comic book inspiration goes by the moniker of "The Deadliest Woman in the Whole Galaxy", it's somewhat understandable to expect big things by the time you make your big screen bow alongside your fellow Guardians of the Galaxy.

And while Zoe Saldana's adopted daughter of Thanos, Gamora, still more than holds her own alongside the likes of Drax the Destroyer, Groot, and the gang on the battlefield and in the cockpit, there's still so much more potential that has yet to be realised cinematically when it comes to the green badass.

Comic book Gamora had her speed, strength, durability, and agility all enhanced by her adoptive paps, with her toughness even rivalling that of Adam Warlock at one point. Sure, her prowess in hand-to-hand combat and reputation as a deadly assassin remain intact within the MCU. However, the true extent of her combat mastery and perfecting of violence with a blade and a vast array of other weaponry is still merely scratching the surface throughout her movie showings.

For reference, Gamora once took out an entire military platoon on her lonesome in minutes, has slayed Thanos with her trusty knives, and is also incredibly well-versed in a boatload of martial arts. So, here's hoping we see "The Deadliest Woman in the Whole MCU" version of this undoubted wrecking machine sooner rather than later.
