7. Alan Tudyk - Wreck-It Ralph

Alan Tudyk is an intensely likeable character actor, who seems comfortable playing a variety of different roles. Hes the wise-cracking pilot in Firefly, hes the neurotic fiancé in Death at a Funeral, hes the rogue Alpha on Dollhouse, and he's Steve the Pirate in Dodgeball. But while hes capable of doing pretty much anything, we never would have thought that he would get cast as King Candy in Wreck-It Ralph. Normally the roles that have that specific of a voice go to actors who either have that voice naturally (Gilbert Gottfried as Iago springs to mind), or people who have made a career out of voice acting and can make their voice sound like anything. Alan Tudyk has some voice experience, but going with an actor who isnt known for his vocal gymnastics seemed like a risky choice. One that paid off, of course, because Tudyk is hilarious in the movie, and it paved the way for his similarly voiced role as the Duke of Weselton in Frozen.
