4. Iron Man Vs Captain America - Captain America: Civil War
Civil War was one of the show-stopping storylines that broke the Marvel universe in the comics. A massive crossover event that had the likes of Tony Stark fighting Steve Rogers. It’s one of the most iconic comic book arcs ever made, which meant that the anticipation for the film adaptation couldn’t be underestimated.
The movie was on a much smaller scale than the source material, focusing on the conflict between Tony and Steve more directly than the massive war present in the graphic novel. This can best be seen in the film's final climax when Tony learns that the Winter Soldier killed his parents and loses all sense of control.
Steve protects Bucky, but he could barely fight back against Iron Man. Even so, he managed to get him out and take on Tony one on one. It was hard to keep up with the Iron Man suit, but Captain America persisted, always getting back up no matter what and telling him that he could do this all day.
It’s emotional, heartbreaking, and a perfect conclusion to one of the best films to come out of the MCU.
