10 Films Hollywood Could Remake With All Female Casts
1. The Hangover
The Original: Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms and Zach Galifianakis wake up after the Bachelor Party From Hell and attempt to find their missing friend and get him to his wedding on time.
The Remake: If ever a movie was likely to tempt Hollywood to try to pull off an all-female version, it’s this one. If Jennifer Lawrence, Amy Poehler and Amy Schumer can be persuaded to come on board, then the omens are good. If it’s Jennifer Lopez, Jennifer Aniston and Gwyneth Paltrow, not so much.
Will It Work? Sure, why not? Regardless of who’s in the cast, and how clunky and formulaic the script is, it can’t possibly be any worse than The Hangover Part II. Have Ronda Rousey make a cameo as herself (filling in for Mike Tyson), and you’ve got a greenlight.
