10 Films President Trump Needs To Watch

8. Barb Wire

Barb Wire
Gramercy Pictures

Set in 2017, this comic book adaptation takes place in Steel Harbor, the “last safe place” in an America torn apart by civil war. The entire film is basically a Democrat’s idea of how a Trump presidency might play out: the bad guys are all white nationalists, millions of Americans are fleeing to Canada and the casual sexism comes thick and fast.

The movie also steals its ideas from an earlier, better film. Taking inspiration from Casablanca, the picture casts Pamela Anderson in the Humphrey Bogart role, playing a bar owner (and bounty hunter) trying to arrange a former flame's safe passage out of the country. So it’s basically a WWII story set in 2017, with the Nazis replaced by members of the “Congressional Directorate.”

Actually, don’t be surprised if Trump comes out as a fan of this Razzie award winning box office dud. Made during the Clinton administration (and released just before “Monicagate”), Barb Wire dresses its lead character in rubber fetish gear, has her snarl a great deal and establishes her as an adolescent boy’s idea of a dominatrix.

Pamela Anderson for Secretary Of State, Mr Trump?
