Teri Hatcher appeared in the second-season episode of The Next Generation as Lt. B.G. Robinson. While she does appear in the final cut of the episode, most of her scenes were cut. Because of this, she requested that her name be removed and therefore was not actually credited for her appearance.

Still more screen time in Star Trek than I've got.

From there, however, her career began a seriously upward trajectory. She would go on to gain universal recognition as Lois Lane. The Adventures of Lois and Clark ran for four seasons, with many Trek alum coming over to join Hatcher and Dean Cain. She would also then go on to appear in Tomorrow Never Dies.

Perhaps her most well-known role to date is that of Susan Delfino on Desperate Housewives, a role for which she was nominated for an Emmy. That show ran for eight years before finishing, again with several Trek alum turning up along the way. Since Desperate Housewives went off the air, she has launched her own YouTube channel and featured on The Great British Bake Off. She won her celebrity episode, which was aimed at fundraising in the fight against cancer.
