10 Future Stars Who Appeared In Star Trek

6. Nikki Cox

Star Trek Pen Pals
CBS Media Ventures / Paramount Pictures

Nikki Cox was only ten years old when she appeared as Sarjenka, the lonely child who calls across subspace to Data in the episode Pen Pals. Her character would be the catalyst for one of the first truly great philosophical discussions in The Next Generation - can they let a planet die simply to honour the Prime Directive?

Coxx was already acting in several productions, though her star would rise in the 90s. She guested on Baywatch, Sister, Sister, and even had a small role in Terminator 2: Judgement Day. She would play a lead role in all 100 episodes of the show Unhappily Ever After, with appearances in California Dreams (the theme is in your head now, isn't it?) and Blossom as well.

The next show of hers that would gain success would be in Las Vegas. She appeared in four of the five seasons.
