10 Game Of Thrones Actors Who Could Star In The MCU (And Who They’d Play)

3. Adam Warlock - Nikolaj Coster-Waldau

Just like Idris Elba becoming the next James Bond, the idea of Nikolaj Coster-Waldau playing Adam Warlock in the MCU seems to have been floating around forever.

Like Alfie Allen’s Theon, Coster-Waldau’s Jaime had one of the more complex arcs in the show. The ending was met with a sour reception, but that shouldn’t tarnish the great Dane’s reputation given how well he played Jaime for almost a decade.

We know Warlock is coming soon, with the end of Guardians Of The Galaxy 2 teasing him. It’s likely Guardians 3 where he’ll finally arrive, which is fitting given the crew has already had quite a shakeup. Gamora is dead (but a different timeline version is alive), while Nebula has grown closer to Rocket when the rest of the squad were dusted.

Thor has been added too, potentially to add some bulk if they go toe to toe with Warlock himself.

He seemed to be being held off until post-Thanos. The similarly powerful Captain Marvel was kept mostly on the sidelines during the battle against the Mad Titan to keep the focus on the OG Avengers.

If ever there was a time to get Adam Warlock in the MCU, it’s now.
