10 Great Movies Starring The Cast Of Community

2. Keith David - Requiem For A Dream (2000)

Happiest Season Alison Brie
Artisan Entertainment

Keith David only appeared as Elroy Patashnik in the final season of Community, but interestingly he lends his voice as the narrator during an earlier episode in Season 3 when Abed and Troy have a civil war with blanket and pillow forts.

Aside from his great work on Community, David has had an incredible career. With films of all genre under his belt, and a voice acting career in both television and video games, Keith David is guaranteed to have been in something you’ve seen.

With all the tremendous films David has been in, none quite compare to Requiem For A Dream. One of the most disturbing yet vital movies ever made, Requiem For A Dream shows the lives of four people and how various levels of addiction can ruin them. Towards the end of this horror-in-disguise, David shows up as a truly evil pimp/drug dealer who has one character do unspeakable things for drugs in a truly unforgettable scene.

Darren Aronofsky’s masterpiece may not be everyone’s cup of tea, but it truly is a spectacle of film making, with great performances front and center.
