10 Huge Casting Surprises Avengers: Doomsday Could Still Pull
5. Charlize Theron As Clea
Whether Sheriff Strange shows up in Avengers: Doomsday or not, you'd be a fool for betting against Earth-616's Doctor Strange showing his weird three-eyed face again. However, based on how things were going the last time he was seen on an MCU screen, he may not be coming alone.
In the first post-credit sting of the Multiverse of Madness, Strange was confronted by Clea, played by none other than Charlize Theron. Hers is a huge name to bring into the franchise, and surely it's only a matter of time before she returns, likely in a third Doctor Strange film.
But why wait that long? Even in a movie boasting 27 big names, Theron would be a huge addition, and it would make sense to see her with Strange. After all, she took the Master of the Mystic Arts into the Dark Dimension, and if he is going to return, there's no reason to think she won't be with him.
Even if her role was to be a small one in Doomsday, there to achieve nothing more than paying off the post-credit scene before a bigger chunk of screen time in a Doctor Strange threequel, Charlize Theron's Clea could make waves in the Avengers' fifth film.
