8. George Lucas Made Vader's Suit Super Heavy So Hayden Christensen Would Visibly Struggle - Star Wars: Episode III - The Revenge Of The Sith

When you say "George Lucas," nowadays,
Star Wars fans instantly think of their childhoods exploding into a million pieces like a failed incarnation of the Death Star. Hayden Christensen, who played Anakin Skywalker in the ill-regarded prequel trilogy, might think of something else entirely - aside from "Why did Lucas cast
me as Darth Vader?", he's probably still remembering that God-awful Vader suit, which George Lucas sneakily customised to ruin the actor's day. According to Lucas himself, he purposely tweaked with the Darth Vader suit before shooting the iconic scene where the Sith Lord shouts "Noooooo!" to ensure that - when Hayden finally got inside it - it was so top heavy that the actor struggled to walk around without looking like a totally dumbass. Effect achieved, although Christensen didn't really need to suit to make himself look like that. Burn!
