10 Most Anticipated Horror Movies Coming In 2020
4. Candyman
If you're feeling twitchy about having to wait for another Jordan Peele fix after this year's Us, then you don't have to wait long to get another dose. Peele is trying his hand at one of the most legendary 90s horrors there is in Candyman, getting a movie together with Tony Todd himself still on board to play the titular urban legend entity. That's how you reboot a franchise right.
Whilst Peele sadly won't be directing, he will be producing, with Nia DaCosta is an equally exciting talent to be taking on the role instead. Joining Todd will be the incredible Yahya Abul-Mateen II and Teyonah Paris, amongst plenty of other names coming together to build up a world where bee-keeping is an extreme sport.
The filmmakers haven't been forthcoming with the plot yet, but Candyman's spiritual sequel stylings are set to feature themes of toxic fandom and gentrification in the same universe as the original story. You can get your hooks into this one on 12 June 2020.
