2. Captain America Is Going To Die

If the comic book is to be believed, then Civil War is going to have one hell of an ending. That is, if Marvel is faithful to the source, it means the film will likely end with the shocking and heartbreaking assassination of Captain America.

Beyond a blind faithfulness to the comics, there's plenty of outside factors suggesting this is a possibility. It’s been reported that Cap will not be present for Infinity War: Part 1, and furthermore, that Chris Evans only has one movie left on his contract. Apparently, he's being saved for Part 2 and one believable reason for his absence is that he's physically out of commission.

Even so, Captain America is one of Marvel's biggest heroes and they've been pretty reluctant to kill anyone other than the villains. Ironically, their eagerness to bring characters back to life would play right into Captain America's death. In the comics, he's not actually killed but suspended in time. Ridiculous sure, but certainly not out of the realm of something Marvel would pull to achieve a shocking climax to Civil War while still being able to bring the character back in the future.

Whether this rumour is true or not will be revealed very shortly, so fans won’t have to wait in anguish much longer to see the fate of one of Marvel’s trademark heroes.
