It's difficult to picture James Gandolfini doing anything else apart from Tony Soprano. However, in True Romance, he does just that.

Yes, James Gandolfini most certainly stole in the show in a movie that features some of the best actors around. Yet, it is Gandolfini who puts the willies up you with his portrayal of Virgil, who just loves to kill more than anything. In fact, Virgil loves to kill so much, that he drags his killings out as much as possible just so he can have more time doing it.

True Romance was actually directed by Tony Scott but was originally written by Quentin Tarantino and Roger Avary. The movie is often forgotten when it comes to Tarantino movies, which is sad because it's actually one of his best.
