10 Most Horrible James Bond Henchman Deaths

Boris always did fancy himself a ladies' man, but he got the cold shoulder here.

After spending most of GoldenEye’s runtime getting on everyone’s nerves with his lewd riddles and pompous proclamations about his own technical wizardry, Boris Grishenko had most viewers, as well as most of the other characters, praying for a quick end.

Boris was the epitome of those terribly annoying “hacker” characters in movies that love tippytapping away on their infernal keyboards to showcase their skills. His trademark, as it were, was to stand and pump his fists while yelling the phrase “I am invincible!”

How fitting then, for Boris to be given the thankless task of restoring control to GoldenEye’s quickly failing antenna at the film’s climax, giving him ample opportunity to tap away, only this time with a gun to his invincible head.

When 007 disables the mechanism and blows up villain Trevelyan’s base, Boris is left standing in the rubble without a scratch… until he’s drenched in liquid nitrogren and grimly frozen solid, still posing in victory.

Not quite invincible then, but at least he has his own statue now.
