10 Most INAPPROPRIATE Scenes In Kids Movies

2. Superhero Murder - The Incredibles (2004)

Lion King - Inappropriate
Pixar

Even before Disney got started on the MCU and monopolised the superhero genre, at least we had The Incredibles.

This Pixar collab did Civil War before it was a glint in Marvel Comics' eye. When "supers" are deemed to have too much power over civilian life, they're retired from service and assimilated into regular society.

The transition is harder for some, with Bob "Mr Incredible" Parr in particular wanting to relive his glory days, unable to be a bystander while crime continues without intervention. The ex-hero, stuck in a dead-end job where profit comes at the expense of the loyal customers, has to deal with a boss with an ego inversely proportional to his size.

So when he's given the opportunity to get back into some elicit super work for a hefty wage, he jumps at the opportunity - not knowing that it's a trap set up by bitter ex-superfan Buddy "Syndrome" Pine to eliminate superheroism entirely.

Bob uncovers Syndrome's plan in the most morbid way possible: by finding out that he already had started executing them. We have to watch Mr Incredible cycle through an entire database of his now-dead supers.

Bear in mind that not only are all the deceased heroes we see old colleagues of Mr Incredible, but they were also close friends. A lot of them initially appeared in the film's opening scene at the Parr wedding. Not only that, but he eventually stumbles across the corpse of his old pal Gazerbeam, forced to hide behind it to evade capture.

AND THEN he thinks his wife and children get nuked out of the air. Tough gig.
