10 Most Ridiculous Fan Reactions To Avengers: Endgame

4. Hating Brie Larson

We get it guys: you don’t like Brie Larson.

Any article, meme, gif or anything else you can think of online doesn’t seem safe from the Larson haters. If Captain Marvel is so much as mentioned, they flock in droves.

Some of the criticisms levelled at her are reasonable; she didn’t really need help from the A-Force, they should have kept her back until after Endgame because she’s too OP, et cetera. Some though are just downright misogynistic; she’s much uglier than Gal Gadot, she’s got a flat butt, et cetera again.

Most of the hate falls somewhere in between. Larson doesn’t think A Wrinkle In Time, a children’s movie made by a black woman with a mostly black cast, should be reviewed exclusively by older white men, and mentioned wanting more female reviewers in general.

This apparently makes her an SJW, which is the worst thing you can be for some fans. Chris Evans and Mark Ruffalo, both famously outspoken on LGBT inclusivity, drone strikes and environmental rights, apparently are not.

These online body language experts would have you think the cast agrees with them too; YouTube is filled with people analysing how much Chris Hemsworth hates standing next to her.

Self appointed queen of the SJWs. Find me on Twitter @FiveTacey (The 5 looks like an S. Do you get it? Do you get my joke about the 5?)
