10 Most Satisfying Harry Potter Movie Moments
5. Harry Blows Up Aunt Marge (The Prisoner Of Azkaban)
At the start of the third movie, Harry’s summer holidays are even worse than usual due to the presence of Aunt Marge, an abusive relative with a fondness for dogs and alcohol.
During their evening meal, Marge decides to attack Harry’s family and calls James Potter a drunk. Harry’s anger soon gets the better of him, and Marge’s glass shatters immediately. But this is only the beginning. After Marge insults Harry’s mother, she starts to inflate like a giant balloon. She then floats out of the house and rises into the evening sky, screaming hysterically in the process.
Given her horrid comments about James and Lily, Marge’s instant karma makes for an immensely satisfying moment. But it’s also great to see Uncle Vernon suffer as well. In addition to several nasty bites from Marge’s dog, he loses his head completely when Harry attempts to leave the house.
Plus, Dudley’s lack of sympathy makes the whole situation even funnier – he’s more interested in watching the television than anything else. Just like Harry, he clearly doesn’t give a damn about his aunt.
