10 Most Unintentionally Annoying Characters In Modern Film

4. Robin €“ Batman Forever/ Batman and Robin

Why You€™re Supposed to Like Him: He€™s Batman€™s back up, his confidant, his comrade in arms; amongst fanboy€™s he€™s got probably the most enviable job in existence. You€™re supposed to like him because Batman himself thinks enough of him enough to invite him into the Batcave; plus you€™ve seen him suffer the loss of his parents and you€™ll usually empathise with a character after witnessing something like that. Why He€™s Annoying: As a long running Batman fan, thanks to Chris O€™Donell€™s €˜wtf is this€™ turn as The Boy Wonder, I€™ve been forced to defend the character a hundred times over. For a start, he€™s clearly about 30, so he€™s less Boy Wonder, more just Twenty-Something Average. And with a performance as beige as O€™Donnell€™s is here, it€™s difficult to find anything of any real value whatsoever But then again, everything about Schumacher€™s Batman franchise at this point was largely erroneous, so I guess it wasn€™t technically O€™Donnell€™s fault €“ he€™s just sort of wound up as the poster boy. Clooney managed to win it back, but thanks to his turn as Robin, O€™Donnell€™s career has been mainly small time since.
