10 Movie Reboots You Didn’t Know Are Coming In 2018

Bernie Mac's untimely death meant no further sequels in Steven Soderbergh's slick and stylish Ocean's series would ever be made, so Warner Bros had the bright idea to soft reboot the franchise and take it in a new direction.

Gary Ross has been tasked with directing a female-centric take on the winning heist formula, with Sandra Bullock, Cate Blanchett, Helena Bonham Carter, Anne Hathaway, Dakota Fanning, Rihanna, Sarah Paulson and Mindy Kaling making up its all-star cast.

Although Ocean's 8 marks a fresh start for the franchise, it will maintain ties with the previous films. Matt Damon is reprising his role as Linus Caldwell, and Soderbergh will produce alongside George Clooney.

Ocean's 8 will bring serious girl power to cinemas this summer, and the hype has been mounting since its debut trailer hit last month.
