6. Jurassic Park (1993)

Whats the first thing movie scientists do when they discover dinosaur DNA in a prehistoric mosquito? Merge it with frog DNA of course. And what are the consequences? Yet another genetic engineering disaster. Theres no doubt that the coolest Safari in the whole world would be one filled with Brachiosaurus and Tyrannosaurus, rather than their smaller giraffe and meerkat present-day equivalents. It would be a harmonic equilibrium if humans could life as one beside the pre-historic creatures and thats what Jurassic Park was attempting. Instead of looking to the future for experimental advancements, Steven Spielbergs franchise was all about sentimentalising the past. The Jurassic Park team discover that their cloned dinosaurs have a bit more bite to them than the average pet dog. And so its pretty ironic when a team sets off on the mission to certify that the DINOSAUR Park is safe. You dont have to be a scientist to envision what the outcome is going to be.
