10 Potential Directors For The Jurassic World Sequel

6. Michelle MacLaren

You might remember Michelle MacLaren as the person who was originally going to direct DC's Wonder Woman movie. She left the project, which was pretty disappointing considering she's an extremely talented director whose move into film is one a lot of people are excited to see. MacLaren has worked on some excellent episodes of the best TV shows in recent years. She was a frequent director on Breaking Bad and also worked on The Walking Dead, The Leftovers, and Game Of Thrones. It's likely Universal will go with a relatively small name like they did with Colin Treverrow, and MacLaren could be an ideal candidate. She has plenty of experience taking on projects that aren't her own but injecting a great energy to them, and now that she's no longer directing Wonder Woman her schedule should be pretty open. Universal just has to nab her before she inevitably makes the move to Star Wars.
