8. Thor & Jane Foster

As tedious and unnatural as Thor's relationship with Jane Foster was in the first Thor movie, it improved dramatically in Thor: The Dark World and the post-credits scene suggested that Thor wanted to make Earth his new home, as he reunited with Jane while she was sat at home with her friends and colleagues. As such, now that he has given up his life on Asgard just to be with her, it would be good to see the relationship flourish and become something of a focal point, even if it does take the attention away from the action somewhat (otherwise the grand gesture of permanently relocating to a completely different realm seems somewhat pointless). It might end in tragedy, with Thor sacrificing himself to save Jane or Jane herself perishing thanks to the inevitable conflicts Thor will undoubtedly be involved in, but it's a relationship that definitely needs to be explored more, as it was horrifically contrived at first, improved somewhat and now needs either developing more or bringing to an end.
