10 Supporting Actors Who Totally Stole The Movie

1. Bill Paxton - Aliens

Bill Paxton Aliens
20th Century Fox

Seven years after Ridley Scott introduced the world to the Xenomorph, the Alien franchise returned for another instalment of deep space horror with James Cameron's follow-up effort Aliens.

Get it - because first there was one and now there's more than one? It's clever if you think about it...

After escaping the intergalactic menace in the first film, Ellen Ripley returns to rescue a human colony from a whole bunch of the monsters. Joining her in this fight are a group of Colonial Marines, some of the best soldiers in the universe. Somehow, they let this cocky little S.O.B. join their ranks.

As Private Hudson, the late Bill Paxton gives a masterclass in how to be a douche. He's arrogant, dismissive, and all kinds of other things too. That is, until he actually gets into combat.

Despite being towards the lower end of the billing, Paxton shines throughout this film. His memorable delivery of multiple memorable lines helps make the movie what it is and his complicated character gives the audience something to think about in amongst the gunfire and alien goop.

Rest in peace to the ultimate badass.
