10 Terrible Movies That Made Great Actors Look Like Failed Amateurs
6. Al Pacino - Jack & Jill
$150,000,000. That's how much the stunningly bad Jack & Jill raked in at the box office in 2011. This was the film that broke the record for number of Razzie Awards, the film that was considered the worst movie of all time by many critics, and also the film that gave Adam Sandler permission to flap around in womens' clothes and makeup. $150,000,000. Yet there remains one thing even more inexplicable than the bizarre financial windfall of Jack & Jill. And that's the appearance in the film by the oh-so-talented Al Pacino. What's more, the screen legend doesn't even pretend to be somebody else; instead playing a fictional version of himself. Manned by Dennis Dugan - Sandler's frequent directorial partner for crimes against cinema - Jack & Jill's ineptness is unsurprising given the creators' collaborated track record. But what nobody will ever be able to truly explain, is how Pacino was coerced into appearing in this monstrosity.
