8. Gift Cards/Pre Made Gift Baskets
It's an hour before your friends birthday party and you forgot to get them a gift. Oh God! What are you going to do? Oh wait, there's a Blockbuster! You'll just pop in for a minute, grab a gift basket, and none will be the wiser. No one ever didn't like a Blockbuster gift basket! Whether you made it yourself and loaded it with their favorite movie treats and a previously viewed copy of the newest Paul Walker flick or grabbed a pre-made basket with generic items and a gift card, there was never a disappointed face. When I got gift cards to Best Buy, Circuit City (throwback!), or any other store that also sold movies, I was overwhelmed with any of the other products that they sold and ended up putting the gift card towards something I needed rather than something I wanted. With a Blockbuster gift card, you knew. Oh, you knew. You were going to walk into that store, spend hours contemplating over which movie or game to get and walk out completely satisfied.
