10 Things You Won’t Believe Were Cut From Spider-Man Movies

1. Norman Osborn's Cryogenic Head (Amazing Spider-Man 2)

Let's be completely honest, Amazing Spider-Man 2 didn't need any more sequel setups, but this one was nonetheless cool... quite literally.

The final scene of the movie - which featured The Gentleman walking through Oscorp where Easter eggs for villains including The Vulture and Doc Ock are on display - was supposed to end with a shot of Norman Osborn’s frozen head, confirming that they save his brain through cryogenics.

This would have teased the return of Chris Cooper's character as the main villain in the next instalment, and in case there's any doubt about that, the frozen head even appears in front of a massive number three painted on the wall, which is subtle compared to Amazing Spider-Man 2's other attempts at foreshadowing.

Fans can only wonder what might have been with Amazing Spider-Man 3, though one thing is for sure, Cooper would have been a terrifying Green Goblin.
