10 Most Underrated Actors In Hollywood

7. Anna Kendrick

Up In The Air provided further evidence of J.K. Simmons€™ talents and was also the vehicle for one of George Clooney€™s best performances, but the star of the show was arguably Anna Kendrick. The actress served notice of her considerable promise as naïve go-getter Natalie Keener and, alongside co-star Vera Farmiga, earned an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress. Not that her talents were any real secret: aged just 12, Kendrick received a Tony award nomination for her part in Broadway musical High Society. Many moviegoers will recognise the young actress as Jessica from the Twilight franchise, but Kendrick has been steadily building up a repertoire that should see her become a regular leading lady in the future. Kendrick took the lead in surprise hit Pitch Perfect in 2012 and her character Beca will be seen again when the sequel hits cinema screens next year, but the actress has appeared in a variety of genres over the last few years. From Edgar Wright€™s effervescent Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World to low-key indie Drinking Buddies by way of the raw, unrelenting End Of Watch, Kendrick has always delivered committed efforts regardless of the size of her role. She will soon appear as Cinderella in Into the Woods and has five movies scheduled for release next year, so overexposure could soon prove more of a problem for Kendrick than being overlooked.

I watch movies and I watch sport. I also watch movies about sport, and if there were a sport about movies I'd watch that too. The internet was the closest thing I could find.
