10 Unused DC Extended Universe Concepts Which Need To Be Used In Future Movies
3. The Doomsday Fans Wanted - Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice
As divisive as Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice might have been, there's one thing every fan can agree on: Doomsday looked nothing short of terrible! Considering the fact Zack Snyder is a huge comic book fan, it's hard to say what he was thinking with that movie's redesign, but concept artist Jerad S.Marantz came up with some far superior earlier designs.
Like the one above, they're all comic accurate and definitely what fans expect from Doomsday.
As it stands, he ended up looking like one of the cave trolls from The Lord of the Rings, and that's a huge blunder on Snyder's part. A completely comic accurate Doomsday wouldn't have necessarily made the movie any better, but the final battle certainly would have benefited from a visual standpoint.
The villain met his maker the same time as the Man of Steel in Batman v Superman, but there's no reason the "real" Doomsday (one not created by Lex Luthor using General Zod's remains) could come to Earth in a future Superman movie to once again push the hero to his limits.
Alternatively, Warner Bros. can make other uses of the formidable Kryptonian monster...for example, he could be the big bad Task Force X is sent after in a future adventure for the Suicide Squad!
