10 Upcoming Horror Movie Rumours We Hope Are True

9. The Long-Awaited We’re Wolves

Constantine Keanu Reeves
20th Television

This one requires a heaping helping of salt rather than a pinch, given how busy the helmer involved is.

Admittedly there’s no knowing when Jojo Rabbit director Taika Waititi will be free to follow up his smash hit What We Do in the Shadows with the long-teased spin off flick We’re Wolves. Another comedy horror, this one following the mild mannered scene stealing lycanthropes of the 2014 hit, We're Wolves has been teased in the years since the first film's release by both potential star Rhys Darby and Waititi himself, with both parties taking annual turns to claim they're this close to getting underway with production.

However, with an Oscar win under his belt and the massively successful TV adaptation of the horror comedy hit entering its second season, the timing couldn’t be better and both Waititi and the film’s star have recently claimed they’d love to see the film made, so time will tell whether the long-vaunted project can actually get off the ground this time around.
