6. Atlantis In Eternals
When it comes to laying the groundwork for future stories, there's arguably no one better at that than Marvel Studios. Wakanda was first referenced in Iron Man 2, while the Super Soldier Serum ended up factoring into The Incredible Hulk long before Captain America: The First Avenger was released.
Theories have been running rampant for months about Namor the Submariner factoring into Black Panther 2 in some way, and it sounds like the groundwork for that will be laid in Eternals. The movie promises to delve into 35,000 years of the MCU's history, and at least part of it will take us to ancient Babylon. However, it's also claimed that we'll get to see the moment Atlantis sunk.
It's worth noting that Namor wasn't around thousands of years ago, but even introducing the concept of the sunken city will obviously open the door to it showing up in the present day. After all, there are even rumours that the mention of an undersea Earthquake in Avengers: Endgame by Okoye was indeed supposed to set the stage for a clash between Atlantis and Wakanda.
Throw in a child actor saying that he plays someone in Eternals whose parents are killed by sea monsters, and this movie taking us to Atlantis appears to be inevitable.
