6. Nightmares in a Damaged Brain (1981) - From £1.59

Okay, so I am going over budget here with Nightmares in a Damaged Brain but This wonderful film deserves a place on the list due to the sheer amount of joy and bliss it has given people who have watched it over the years. Evoking a similar sort of cheap, grimy vibe as The Toolbox Murders, this infamous Video Nasty is a rather silly film with some ultra gore thrown in with the hope of enlivening it. The dreary plot concerns a guy called George who is travelling to his childhood stomping ground of Florida. George is becoming increasingly plagued by violent dreams and flashbacks to an horrific event in his childhood. His ultimate destiny is to find his wife and son. The closer he gets to his family, the more atrocious the murders he commits and the more vivid his psychosis. Will his family survive this man's insane bloodlust? There are some amusing scenes In this piece of crap - my favourite is George, wearing a pair of Y Fronts, thrashing about on the floor, frothing at the mouth as a bad memory seizes his brain. If you love trash cinema, it's yours for £1.59 on amazon.
