10 X-Men Characters Who Look Nothing Like The Movies
4. Quicksilver - X-Men: Days Of Future Past, Apocalypse, & Dark Phoenix
Quicksilver made his first live-action appearance in X-Men: Days of Future Past via a performance by Evan Peters. In the movies, he's called Peter Maximoff (instead of Pietro), and isn't a twin. Essentially, he's not the same exact character he is in the comics, but for all intents and purposes, he's Quicksilver.
In the comics, Quicksilver has an iconic look, featuring a blue costume with a lightning bolt shooting from the right shoulder down to the central part of his torso. He always has white hair and can run ridiculously fast, making him incredibly hard to stop.
In the movies, he's just as fast, and some of the best scenes in all the movies he appeared in were the best in those movies, but that doesn't mean he looked like his comic book counterpart. In the films, Quicksilver has grey hair that extends to the collarbone, and he doesn't wear a blue costume.
He wears a lot of normal clothing, which is accented by silver-colored items, including a jacket and goggles. He looks like what you might expect a kid to throw on were he to run so fast he could save people from explosions and gunshots, and while it makes sense in live-action, it didn't look at all like Quicksilver.
