And finally, say hello to Jason Isaacs! Its about time that Isaac who notably portrayed Lucius Malfoy in the Harry Potter movies was given a supervillain role to play with. Hes more than capable of giving audiences the creeps, so its a bit of a surprise that he hasnt already transitioned to the comic book movie world. Mr Sinister could be the perfect role for him. This British villain (real name: Nathanial Essex) was born in Victorian times, and became a scientific peer to Charles Darwin. After the death of his son due to a birth defect, he became obsessed with studying mutations. He began experimenting on homeless people, and even dug up his dead son to experiment on him. Nathanial formed an alliance with Apocalypse, who he believed to be the first mutant. Ultimately, Apocalyse helped Nathaniel become Sinister, via a painful transformation that gifted him with all sorts of powers (strength, telepathy, shapeshifing, telekinesis, immunity to injury and the power to manipulate molecules). He has battled the X-Men countless times in the centuries since his birth, and has a particular obsession with Cyclops, Jean Grey and their family. With all these powers, that striking appearance a links to X-Men lore, it seems incredibly likely that Mr Sinister will reach the big screen soon enough.
