11 Giant Mistakes The DCEU Has Already Made

8. Stuffing Too Many Characters Into Batman V Superman

The smartest part of Marvel€™s plan was releasing solo movies before getting to The Avengers, instead of starting with the epic event and letting the solo movies branch off from there. This gave audiences a chance to know each of the characters first, while fuelling anticaption for their eventual team-up. Warner€™s decided not to go this route, opting instead to cram Batman V Superman with as many characters and plotlines as possible. As if the first big screen fight between the two icons wasn€™t enough of an event, the movie will also introduce Wonder Woman, Lex Luthor, Aquaman, Cyborg and possibly The Flash and Green Lantern (and maybe a Martian Manhunter cameo if they€™re feeling really generous). The conflict between the two titans is more than enough to hold people's attention, with the other characters being added simply to quickly set-up the Justice League movies. As a result, they€™ll all be fighting for screentime in a movie that should be focused on the title event.
