11 Times James Bond Said F**k You To The Fans

2. Giving Pierce Brosnan A Terrible Bunch Of Movies

Many were excited when Pierce Brosnan was finally cast as James Bond for 1995's Goldeneye, especially considering he was originally offered the part in 1987 but had to decline due to Remington Steele commitments. While his first time up to bat was a hugely enjoyable outing, all three of his other efforts, Tomorrow Never Dies, The World Is Not Enough and Die Another Day, ranged from mediocre to hilariously awful, and it's a shame that such a tremendously talented actor so well-suited for the character was given such garbage movies. Granted, it didn't stop Brosnan from becoming the quintessential Bond for an entire generation of youngsters, but he deserved so many better movies, especially given the promise it's easy to see from his excellent work on Goldeneye.
