Before I Go To Sleep wasn't quite the prequel to While You Were Sleeping that literally nobody expected it to be but it was an arresting enough idea that was a considerable step up from the quality of Nicole Kidman's preceding film Grace Of Monaco. It wasn't exactly great though. Presenting Kidman's character as a vulnerable victim of violent amnesia, the film took her stripped bare nature to the extreme, presenting a shot (somewhat unnecessarily) of her surveying her life in pictures in the buff. That alone would be worthy of pausing for some, given that it was billed as Nicole Kidman's nudity; though it was in fact a stand-in, whose curious thigh-gap made for a confusing optical illusion for anyone quick enough to catch it.
