Now You See Me was a surprise hit so that must mean it needs another adventure! The first movie ended on a shocking twist so illogical it unravelled the already shaky logic of the story. The idea of further adventures was hinted at but it doesnt feel like people were exactly clamouring for it. All the same nearly the entire cast have reunited for Now You See Me: The Second Act, another adventure about amazing magic tricks that are mostly performed with CGI. Michael Caine's evil millionaire character returns to seek revenge on the Four Horsemen with help from his son, played by Daniel Radcliffe with a scruffy man beard. Now You See Me was forgotten by most people five minutes after they left the cinema and most of the characters were kind of unlikable, especially the annoyingly smug one played by Jesse Eisenberg. Maybe an exciting trailer will turn that around but for now excitement levels are positively lukewarm.
