The Moment: If you went to see Pixar's new movie Coco in North America and other large territories, you had to sit through not only the usual 30 minutes of commercials and trailers, but also a 21-minute Frozen short, Olaf's Frozen Adventure.

Why It's Controversial: Making audiences sit through over 50 minutes of preambles before the movie actually starts screening would be controversial in its own right, but one aimed squarely at children, who are notoriously difficult at sitting still for extended periods, especially when they're a captive audience?

Parents and general punters alike complained en masse on social media, leading to the short being pulled out of circulation in most countries after a few weeks at most.

It didn't help that the short didn't exactly receive stellar reviews, and no doubt being forced to sit through such a lengthy "short" without any prior warning didn't exactly help endear audiences to it.
