2. Iron Man 3

Iron Man 3 is one of the more unique and provocative movies in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, with Shane Black injecting his distinctive style into a potentially more conventional superhero flick to gloriously entertaining results.

Sure, the Mandarin twist wasn't for everyone, but with a more cerebral approach to Tony Stark, a litany of surprises and plenty of whip-smart dialogue, Iron Man the Third was more than just another Marvel sequel.

Ever since its release, fans have been wondering when Marvel will finally confirm Iron Man IV.

How Likely Is It?: Robert Downey Jr. has appeared reluctant to sign on for another Iron Man sequel and made a number of vague statements about the possibility, but not much more.

It's also important to consider the fact that Downey Jr. is already 52 years old and may very well be killed off in one of the currently-shooting Avengers movies, so that may explain the actor not staunchly committing to another solo movie.

Still, it's tough to gauge: this really could go either way, because both Downey Jr. and Marvel stand to make an absolute killing off another Iron Man film. 5/10
