7. The Milano Leading A Fleet Of Ships?

We've seen several great shots and images of Peter Quill's ship, the Milano, but had no idea that the ship wasn't exactly one of it's kind. Briefly, there's a shot of the Milano leading a fleet of ships around some flaming energy blast in the skies of Xandar. Or, could it just be ships that look like the Milano? Or, more intriguingly, could Quill have stolen the Milano from the Nova Corps? Every legendary outlaw needs a legendary ship, and while he's likely had his for a while now, he could have easily gotten his from the Corps, further establishing his status as a criminal. Hell, he himself introduces himself via voiceover as a thief.

6. Great Balance Of Humor, Action, And Drama

Marvel Studios took a big risk when adapting this property, not only because of how it's almost universally unknown by casual audiences and comic book aficionados, but because of how weird it is. That's why they hired James Gunn, who's shown that he can balance strange elements with witty humor and drama (see: Slither and Super). This trailer was edited by someone with a lot more skills than whoever made the first trailer, because all of those elements are more balanced here. The action is polished and exciting, the dramatic elements are there, and the humor isn't as distracting this time around.
