Considered by many film and TV critics as one of the funniest minds in British comedy, Chris Morris has left his mark on a number of hilarious shows over the last 30 years. From working on satires like The Day Today and Brass Eye to his most recent flick, The Day Shall Come, Morris has shown time and time again that he has one of the most intelligent minds when it comes to humour.

His directorial debut, Four Lions, is a perfect example of the 57-year old's ability to satirise any subject. The film centres around a group of young British muslim men who are radicalised into terrorism. In the hands of a poorer director, this film could've been offensive and unfunny. However, Morris made a film that focuses on their idiocy and inability to achieve their overall goal, which makes for plenty of laugh-out-loud moments.

There are brilliant performances throughout the movie, but Riz Ahmed, who plays the films main character, Omar, and Nigel Lindsey, who plays Barry, the founder of the Islamic State of Tinsley, are the ones that really standout. Their performances, plus Morris' direction helped create a modern day British comedy classic.
