15 Hilariously Awful SyFy Original Movies

In Alien Apocalypse, astronauts return to Earth after a 40 year mission only to discover that the planet has been enslaved by an alien race. What kind of aliens? Well, they're basically weird humanoid grasshopper looking creatures that talk in robot voices for some reason and resemble something from a Playstation 1 game.

This movie is worth watching for one simple reason: Bruce Campbell. Luckily, he has the knack to make even something as dumb as this entertaining. He gives inspirational speeches, tracks down the president and leads the humans to victory in an epic revolution against freaking grasshopper aliens.

 It's clear that Campbell is totally in on the joke here and just having a lot of fun with this ridiculous script, and it's easy for the audience to have fun with him.  

But boy is the movie itself dumb. It's got your usual bad acting and terrible special effects, but if you ever wanted to see Bruce Campbell fight bugs for 90 minutes, Alien Apocalypse is sure worth a watch.
