Possibly definitive proof that Kevin Smith has gone totally off-the-rails as a filmmaker, this second entry into his True North trilogy sees the Clerks director pulling a risible horror comedy out of his a** in order to try and make stars out of his daughter Harley Quinn and her friend, Lily-Rose Depp (daughter of Johnny).
Though the two leading ladies do just fine performance-wise, the script is all over the place, and the more surreal asides (such as Smith playing an army of Nazi bratwurst) fall mostly flat, as though they were much more fun to film than actually watch.
Sometimes your ideas should stay on a podcast, Kev, and it's safe to say everyone just wants you to get this out of your system so you can go back to working on Clerks III.
