3. The Original Cut Was Almost Four Hours Long - Kingsman: The Golden Circle

If, like many, you were left frustrated at the recent Kingsman sequel clocking in at an excessive, bloated 141 minutes, count your lucky stars that Fox didn't allow director Matthew Vaughn to unleash his almost four-hour monstrosity of an original cut upon audiences.

Vaughn's first pass of the film clocked in at a meaty 3 hours and 40 minutes, to the point that Fox even asked the director if he wanted to split it into two movies. Vaughn relented, however, and hammered the film into its comparatively slender final run-time.

Vaughn has talked about potentially releasing a Director's Cut in the future, but with the highly mixed response to the film already, and much of the ire being directed towards the self-indulgent runtime, that doesn't seem terribly likely.
