Ever since he made it to the big time via Stranger Things, Joe Keery (and his magnificent barnet) has done more to further his name in the comedy and horror genres than pretty much any other of the Duffer Brothers’ hit series' cast, except for maybe David Harbour.

Keery is back again next year in Cold Storage, starring as Travis “Teacake” Meacham, a self-storage facility employee who comes up against a deadly parasitic fungus that escapes from the secret government facility beneath his workplace. Along for the ride is a smorgasbord of talent in Georgina Campbell, Sosie Bacon, Vanessa Redgrave, and Liam Neeson, as they all come together to fight against the mysterious organism’s telekinetic abilities and try to stop it before it can usher in humanity’s extinction.

David Koepp (Jurassic Park, Carlito’s Way, Panic Room, Mission: Impossible) is on writing duties, and with Alien Autopsy’s (2006) Jonny Campbell managing affairs from behind the lens, Cold Storage is guaranteed to balance the sci-fi and horror elements evenly with a solid comedic underpinning.
